Afnan Liza is a Paralegal at Axis Solicitors, based in our Ilford office, with substantial experience in UK immigration law. She specialises in both personal and business immigration matters, providing practical, client-focused support across a range of visa categories and legal processes.

Her expertise includes Skilled Worker visa applications, Sponsor Licence compliance, family-based routes, naturalisation, High Potential Individual (HPI) visas, and Global Talent visa applications. Afnan is well-versed in UKVI procedures and is adept at managing applications independently, ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant submissions.

As part of her role, Afnan prepares visa applications, drafts legal documents, and advises clients on Home Office requirements and sponsorship obligations. Her academic specialism in corporate law enhances her work in business immigration, particularly assisting companies with sponsor duties and international mobility strategies. She also supports clients throughout the documentation and application process, regularly liaising with clients and regulatory authorities.

She was called to the Bar by Lincoln’s Inn in 2024, as she holds an LLM and Bar Vocational Studies (BVS) degree with a specialism in Corporate Law and Practice from City, St George’s – University of London, and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons) from the University of the West of England.

Afnan is fluent in English and has professional working proficiency in Bengali, Hindi, and Arabic. Her multilingual abilities, professionalism, and cultural awareness allow
